THE PROJECT IN BRIEF

The project DES – Digital Education for Sustainability was born to innovate EdTech by combining digital technologies and sustainability.

Wonderful Education is investing in the development of two key products: Cyber Salad 2.0, a hydroponic system with IoT sensors that allows students to experiment with soilless cultivation and collect environmental data to develop skills in coding, data science, and artificial intelligence, and Green Air Explorer 2.0, an indoor air quality monitoring system with a user-friendly interface and citizen science laboratory activities.

The suite aims to educate on sustainability in line with Agenda 2030 and GreenComp, to strengthen digital and STEAM skills with interdisciplinary and problem-based approaches, to ensure inclusion thanks to Universal Design for Learning, and to actively involve students and teachers in the collection and analysis of environmental data.

Suite Digital Education aims to become a replicable standard for Green & Sustainability education, with a strong educational and social impact.

The Suite Digital Education project is supported by European funding from the Emilia-Romagna Region.
